I am a Psychologist registered in the Australian Capital Territory and NSW. I have been the Managing Director of Optimal Health & Performance Pty Ltd, since its inception in 1998 and have fulfilled duties in clinical and forensic psychology since that time. In July 2008 I began a part-time position of Clinical Psychologist Supervisor at the Australian National University Psychology Clinic.

I have a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours from the Australian National University and a Master of Clinical Psychology, also from the ANU. I have conducted clinical research on young children’s cognitive development and parents recovering from drug & alcohol dependence and the circumstances of their childhood, current functioning and parenting abilities. I have presented research papers at national and international forums and presented training workshops on the effects of parental drug abuse and domestic violence upon children, dealing with stress and managing parental stress and anger.

Over the past 12 years of my professional practice I have participated in a wide range of professional training and conferences related to forensic and clinical psychology. My professional expertise includes providing clinical psychology services in areas related to child and adult mental health issues, family and parenting psychology, drug & alcohol use, conflict and violence, trauma/injury and rehabilitation from physical and psychological injury. I have conducted expert reports for matters relating to family law, care & protection of children, civil claims related to psychological injury and illegal/criminal behaviour.

I have been trained and gained clinical psychology experience in the following therapeutic styles:

* Relationship counselling & parenting issues
* Sex therapy including addictive & problematic sexual interests (eg. pornography)
* Child behaviour and anxiety issues
