Antoinette Harmer

Senior Psychologist: Antoinette is a Registered Psychologist who holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and is currently completing a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, College of Clinical Psychologists. Antoinette is experienced in providing clinical and forensic psychology services for a wide range of child, adolescent and adult issues. In addition to the above- mentioned best practice treatments, Antoinette also uses clinical hypnosis to enhance interventions.

Dr Allison Clarke

Psychologist: Allison is a Registered Psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Professional Doctorate of Health Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, College of Health Psychologists. Allison specialises in understanding the effects of psychological factors related to health and illness. She is interested in the application of psychology to life-style risk factor modification, increasing patient adherence to medical plans and lifestyle changes required for effective chronic disease management, and using psychological treatment for problems that may accompany ill health and injury such as anxiety, depression, pain, addiction, sleep, and eating concerns.

Dr Elle Lieber

Dr Elle Lieber is an internationally-recognised Psychologist who will move from Florida to Canberra in May 2010.  Elle has experience working with children, adolescents and families regarding a wide variety of mental health, developmental and educational needs.  She is awaiting full registration as a Psychologist in the ACT following a short period of time of supervised practice as an intern psychologist.

Elle works with individuals and their parents or support persons in relation to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Asperger’s Disorder, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit and conduct disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury and Physical/Sensory Impairments.  She also provides assessments and therapy for an Anxiety, Depression, stress, adjustment problems, trauma and abuse.

Dr Lyndall Strazdins

Dr Strazdins has internationally recognized research expertise and publications on the mental health of adults and children, work stresses, and the pressures faced by many families linked to working and parenting. She has a Doctorate in Psychology and a Clinical Psychology Masters degree, and before her academic career, worked for ten years as a psychologist specializing in child and adolescent difficulties, post natal depression, parenting and family stresses, trauma and pain management. She is an expert advisor for several recent Government enquiries, reports and studies including the Family Study Program, Department of Veteran Affairs.

Dr Strazdins is returning to full registration to combine research and clinical expertise, and is currently practicing as an intern psychologist.

Michiyo Hashimoto

Psychologist: Michiyo is a Registered Psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Arts-Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology. She has experience in psychological assessment and interventions for the major mood and anxiety disorders with a focus on cognitive-behavioural approaches. She also utilises interpersonal therapy and motivational interviewing.
