Dr Allison Clarke
Clinical Psychologist: Allison is a Clinical Psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Professional Doctorate of Health Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, College of Health Psychologists and College of Clinical Psychologists. Allison specialises in understanding the effects of psychological factors related to health and illness. She is interested in the application of psychology to life-style risk factor modification, increasing patient adherence to medical plans and lifestyle changes required for effective chronic disease management, and using psychological treatment for problems that may accompany ill health and injury such as anxiety, depression, pain, addiction, sleep, and eating concerns.

Cath Hunt
Cath is a Psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and has recently submitted a Clinical Psychology PhD thesis. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Cath’s main clinical experience has included treating adults and adolescents with eating and body images disturbances. She has also worked for a number of years in an EAP setting assisting people with a wide range of work and personal concerns.

Dr Lyndall Strazdins
Clinical Psychologist: Lyndall is a member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists and has a PhD in Psychology and a Clinical Psychology Masters degree. Lyndall has internationally recognised research expertise and publications on the mental health of adults and children, work stresses, and the pressures faced by many families linked to working and parenting. Prior to her academic career she worked for ten years as a psychologist specialising in child and adolescent difficulties, post natal depression, parenting and family stresses, trauma and pain management. Lyndall's return to clinical practice enables her to continue this work.

Michiyo Hashimoto
Clinical Psychologist: Michiyo holds a Bachelor of Arts-Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists. She has experience in psychological assessment and interventions for the major mood and anxiety disorders with a focus on cognitive-behavioural approaches. She also utilises interpersonal therapy and motivational interviewing to address a variety of clinical presenting issues in her clients. Michiyo is able to provide clinical psychology services to international students and she offers therapy in both English and Japanese.

Joan Webb
Clinical Psychologist: Joan is a Clinical Psychologist who holds a Master of Clinical Psychology. Joan moved to Canberra from Western Australia where she has had over a decade of experience as a specialist clinical psychologist working with children and adolescents. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, College of Clinical Psychologists. Joan specialises in providing clinical psychology services to children, adolescents and their families. In addition to mental health difficulties, Joan can also provide therapy to enhance social skills in preschoolers / school-aged children, build resilience for primary and high school children and assist those children with chronic medical conditions manage the emotional difficulties associated with their illness.
Joan also provides clinical supervision within the areas of her expertise.

Tegan Cruwys
Tegan is a Psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) with a University Medal in psychology. She is currently undertaking specialised training in clinical psychology at the Australian National University and is supervised by Joan Webb at Optimal Health and Performance. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Tegan has experience with both children and adults in assessing and treating mood and anxiety disorders, sleep disturbance, stress, adjustment issues and learning difficulties.
